What's the difference between the Indie, Studio, and Agency plans?
Three tiers based on production volume and feature access. Indie ($29/mo) includes 1,000 video credits and 5 digital twins — suited for independent creators and marketers producing regular content. Studio ($59/mo) steps up to 2,500 video credits, 15 digital twins, plus unlocks AI VSL generation, dubbing, and access to frontier models like Google VEO 3 and Sora 2. Agency ($119/mo) is built for teams producing at scale: 5,400 video credits, unlimited digital twins, 4K export, and advanced model access. The main differentiators between tiers are credit volume, model access, and export quality.
How do video generation credits work?
Each video consumes credits based on two factors: the AI model used and the video length. Standard models (faster, lighter) use fewer credits per minute. Frontier models like Google VEO 3.1 and Sora 2 (higher quality, more compute-intensive) use more. Your dashboard shows real-time credit usage — both remaining balance and per-video consumption — so you can plan production without surprises. If you generate a video and don't like the result, the credits are consumed (the compute already happened), but you can iterate on the script and regenerate. For teams with predictable monthly volume, the Agency plan's credit allocation covers most production schedules.
How much do I save with annual billing?

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes — full flexibility in both directions. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing: you pay the difference for the remaining billing period and instantly get access to the higher tier's credits, features, and model access. Downgrades apply at the start of your next billing cycle, so you keep your current plan's features through the end of the period you've already paid for. There's no penalty for switching in either direction, and no contract lock-in. What does the Enterprise plan include?

Do all plans include commercial rights?
Yes — full commercial rights on every Synthesys plan, including Indie. Use generated content in paid ads, client deliverables, product pages, training materials, broadcast TV, streaming platforms, social media, and any other business application. No royalties, no attribution requirements, no usage restrictions, no per-video licensing fees. This is an important distinction because some AI video platforms restrict commercial use to higher-tier plans or charge additional licensing for specific distribution channels (particularly broadcast and paid media). Synthesys includes all commercial rights at every plan level — the only differences between tiers are credits, features, and model access, not usage rights.
What is your refund policy?
